Nicole celebrated her birthday this past Sunday with several of her closest friends. And if you’ve ever seen this bunch before, you have a pretty good idea of the hilarity associated with putting these people on horseback. But we accomplished the mission with much aplomb and I’ve got the pictures to show for it. Check them out here.
Houston Pictures Posted
Some times I amaze myself. That is, I am amazed at what a knuckle-dragging oaf I can be with my camera. In the past week I’ve taken dozens of pictures in different settings that mostly came out out-of-focus. The pictures from Houston are no exception.
Stanford Pictures Added
I spent a couple of hours this weekend wandering around Stanford with my camera. There aren’t many pictures there but I’m happy with most of them. The one exception is this one where I simply gave up on trying to make the Photoshopped sky look real.
Web Page News Announcements
As you may have noticed, I’m now using a ‘News’ category in my blog for announcements pertaining to the web page and life events. I modified my home page to display the 10 most recent posts in this category. This replaces the manual HTML that I was updating previously.
The Ordeal Continues…
Those of you that read my Christmas travel article know that I had no luck at making it to Cincinnati to see my family. After several egregiously rude interactions with Continental Airlines (rude on their part, that is!), I decided to dispute the charges on my credit card. About four months later this story continues.
Obligatory Blog (or: Scott’s First Topic)
It’s now getting late on Monday, January 10 and I’ve decided to do a little website re-org. First off–and I’m sure this comes as no surprise to most of my readers–Krisztina and I have called it quits. I’ve been pretty upset for the last few weeks since we decided to travel down this path of heartbreak and only today have I gotten around to expunging the digital records of her presence. Well, to be honest, I’m not doing a complete purge as I want to have the pictures of us on various trips as a tribute to the happiness that we enjoyed. But, I’m not leaving up the dedicated ‘Krisztina’ section on this site as that would be just creepy.
As you may be only one of perhaps ten people in the world that even know this site exists, you’re probably asking yourself why I would bother to type out the details of my life in all its banality for an audience of none. The answer to that question is as complex as it is pointless. So, I invite you, kind reader, to read this Blog and participate to the extent that you wish. I’ll leave a few words from my head to pass the time and you can see the depths of boredom that power this site’s content.
