Some times I amaze myself. That is, I am amazed at what a knuckle-dragging oaf I can be with my camera. In the past week I’ve taken dozens of pictures in different settings that mostly came out out-of-focus. The pictures from Houston are no exception.
The few pictures that I salvaged from the trip can be viewed here. The silhouette is of my father’s pet cockatiel, Flapper. The other pictures came from a day trip that we took to the Texas coast near the Louisiana border. We rented a watertight housing for my camera and took a few pictures both in the swamp and in the coral reef just off shore. The two visible images from that trip are all that I could resurrect.
