Pantry Constructed, Tile Laid

After eight days of work, spanning two Wednesdays, my kitchen has the appearance of completion from a construction perspective. Yesterday the sheetrock went up around my newly-formed pantry’s pocket door and the last of the floor tile was laid.

My appliances are happily sitting in the garage so I may be close to seeing my new fridge, oven, and dish washer installed. The cooktop and sink must wait for the countertop, which is expected next Wednesday. The hood will follow the installation of the wall tile. But since I do not yet even own wall tile I am not sure how long this will be.

New Pantry Formed, Tile Work Begins

The pace of my contractors’ work continues to amaze me. They have finished rerouting the gas line in the combined pantry, furnace and laundry closet. The new pocket door providing access to this room is in place. And the tile floor is over 50% done.

Gaming Google to Dominate the Drummonds

Six or seven years ago I became intrigued with becoming the Internet’s “Scott Drummonds”.  My Dad had called me up to brag that his home page ranked number one on Google, Yahoo, and HotBot, or some other engine BGE (before the Google era.)  I wasn’t sure how he had done it, but I knew that I wanted to do the same.  And why stop at number one?  Why not go for total domination of the top 10?  I’ve always been curious as to how this can be done.
